Oh, this just got so, so, much darker. Completing a sacrifice ritual usually only means one of two things, and the second option really makes me feel ill.
Dummy me…I just realized: “Screw over those White Wings….” THAT was Amarissa’s sin, she crossed over and joined the Nephilim; that’s why her wings and horns were white in her confrontation with Chandra. She obviously had a big problem with what the Selini were doing; she accused Chandra of just “toying” with mortals. Oh my, this is very deep writing Deer, this story is getting better and better with each new revelation/realization. I’m going to have to join someone’s Patreon when I get money Friday.
